Silent Hill f is on sale for 29% for Black Friday

It pleases my cold heart to see Silent Hill make a big comeback these past few years, with chilling titles like the wonderful Silent Hill 2 remake and the surprisingly engrossing spin-off, Silent Hill f.

Silent Hill f quickly won fans and us over for its disturbing story, interesting characters, and experimental shake-up of Silent Hill’s trademarked gameplay.

There are plenty of reasons as to why Silent Hill f is the fastest-selling game in the series, and is well worth risking getting nightmares to play. It’s a well-made game that is guaranteed to chill you to the bone, regardless of whether you’re a long-time Silent Hill fan or a newcomer to horror games in general.

It tells a horrific yet tragic tale of the young Shimizu Hinako, desperately trying to escape her haunted town of Ebisugaoka while searching for friends before they’re hunted by monsters lurking within.

Silent Hill f also features a gorgeously detailed (and disturbing) art direction, backed up with atmospheric sound-design and music to truly make you feel like you’re alone and trapped in a world where your worst nightmares have come to life.

On top of that, Silent Hill f is also bold enough to try innovating the series’ gameplay formula with devious, mind-bending puzzles, a more in-depth combat system, and special story cutscenes that only unlock in NG+ runs.

For the most part, it’s a successful departure that’s fun to play while staying true to the themes and horrors of Silent Hill. However, the combat system doesn’t seem to be balanced well on harder difficulty levels, where enemies are more frequent.

However, that doesn’t stop Silent Hill f from being a great Xbox title and one I personally recommend for lovers of survival horror games, especially now that the Day One Edition of the game is on sale for $49.94 at Amazon, instead of its normal MSRP of $69.99 for Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Buying the Day One Edition will net you Silent Hill f along with several DLC items for it. These include a White Sailor School Uniform costume, an Omamori: Peony accessory, and an Item Pack containing the Shriveled Abura-age, Divine Water, and First Aid Kit items.

Is Silent Hill f on Xbox Game Pass?

No, Silent Hill f is currently not available to download via Xbox Game Pass.

Does Silent Hill f feature Xbox Play Anywhere support?

Yes, Silent Hill f does support Xbox Play Anywhere, so buying it on Xbox will automatically its Windows PC license and vice versa. Additionally, you will be able to transfer and continue your game’s save data progress between Xbox and Windows PC platforms via the Cloud.

When is 2025’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday set to start?

Black Friday arrived on November 28, 2025, and will last until December 1, 2025, when it will be replaced by Cyber Monday.

However, retailers like Amazon have already begun shifting away from Black Friday in favor of hosting Cyber Monday deals early.
