CARBONDALE, Ill. (KFVS) – Southern Illinois University Carbondale School of Music students will showcase their talents in a chamber ensemble concert on Friday, February 27.
The one-hour concert will have a variety of ensembles and styles.
Jessica Butler, assistant professor of low brass, says the concert will feature approximately 30 students in low brass collective, percussion, trumpet and string ensembles.
Butler said the idea for the concert is to showcase active chamber ensembles at one time and place.
The concert is free and open to the public. It will take place at Shryock Auditorium at 7 p.m.
