The Yacht Club of Greece welcomes six RS21 keelboats to their growing club fleet – the first club-owned fleet of RS21s in Greece.

The fresh boats strengthen the Club’s adult sailing offerings and pave the way for a new chapter of activity on the water. Members and visitors alike can look forward to:

  • Modern, structured training and education programmes
  • Innovative and engaging racing events
  • New, accessible experiences for sailors of all levels

The RS21 was selected as the ideal platform to support this vision, thanks to its modern, high-performance design and versatility. Equally suited to competitive club racing, charter use, and learn-to-sail programmes, the RS21 was the leading choice for this new era of sailing at the Yacht Club of Greece.

Sharing their excitement on social media, the Club commented: “With RS21 we bring new breath, new technology and new dynamism to Greek sailing, creating more opportunities for participation and development for everyone. The future of sailing starts now.”

This investment highlights the club’s commitment to the continued growth of sailing in the region.

Michiel Geerling, Head of Commercial at RS Sailing – who helped brokered the deal in partnership with RS Sailing Greece dealer Babbis Charalampolos – shared his enthusiasm: “I’m excited to see the first RS21 fleet arrive in Greece. At RS Sailing, we’re all about participation, so establishing a new fleet in new waters – especially the first club fleet in the country – is a significant moment. We’re looking forward to seeing how the boats are used across training and racing, and we hope to welcome Greek teams at future European and International events organised by the RS21 International Class.”

At RS Sailing, we’re proud to support the Yacht Club of Greece’s journey and look forward to seeing this new fleet in action on the Saronic Gulf.
