The students of St. Paul’s Woodworth put on a science fair last week.
According to information from the school, many projects were completed as an independent learning exercise for the students in grades 6-8 who did experiments and shared their results making tri-fold mini museums.
The 5th grade conducted science demonstrations, like using air pressure to suck a balloon into a bottle, catchable soap bubbles, pencil “lead” Edison light bulbs, color changing M&Ms, and the proper viscosity of fake blood.
The 3-4 shared how to make snap circuits, grade 1-2 demonstrated man made vs. natural matter, which is dead or alive and which would float or sink. Kindergarten showed how to use the 5 senses and at the preK station you could become a bee and distribute pollen.
