New York Gov. Kathy Hochul declared a state of emergency for counties affected by a strong snow storm cruising through the Northeast. The FOX Forecast Center is forecasting a widespread 5 to 8 inches of snow from north-central New Jersey through New York City into southern Connecticut. Locally higher amounts are possible just north of New York City into the lower Hudson Valley, where the best chance of all snow exists.
