Students 2 Science has appointed three new members to its board of trustees, bringing additional industry experience as the organization looks to expand its reach across the state.
The new trustees are Lloryn Hubbard, a director at Daiichi Sankyo US; Sunitha Lakshminarayanan, a biopharmaceutical executive; and Cory Krutis, a principal at KPMG US. The additions reflect a mix of expertise in healthcare, life sciences, and professional services—sectors closely tied to STEM workforce development.
The nonprofit provides hands-on science learning through in-person and virtual programming, partnering with schools and community organizations across New Jersey. It has reached more than 300,000 students since its founding, operating technology centers in Whippany and Newark.
“I’m excited to welcome this outstanding group of leaders whose experience and perspective add real horsepower to our board as we continue to scale S2S’s impact,” said Board Chair Karnel Walker.
The board expansion comes as STEM-focused nonprofits seek deeper ties with industry to support funding and curriculum relevance, particularly as states and employers push to strengthen science and technology talent pipelines.
