Sophomore Rocky Lee plays through the beginning of “Pirates of the Caribbean” along with the other members of the cello section. Chamber Music Night allows the performers much more freedom in choosing their set list than a standard concert. “I like the freedom of events like this, where it’s more student-led and independent,” Lee said.
Members of the Carlmont Instrumental Music Program got together on Friday night, March 20, to perform in small, student-led groups. In the days leading up to Chamber Music Night, musicians chose what to play and who to perform with, giving them a high level of freedom to express themselves. Many weeks of preparation finally paid off for many, getting to perform with their friends and share their music with the audience.
