This processor is excellent for anyone looking for a more well-rounded offering, compared to the more gaming-focused alternatives, like some of the Ryzen X3D models. It’s very effective at handling demanding multitasking and multithreaded workflows, thanks to its high core and thread count (20 + 24), and its big boost clock speed and relatively large 30MB L3 cache make it decent for gaming, too. It’s also a remarkably efficient processor, which makes it a good option for more compact builds like this PC. Overall, a solid CPU if you’re looking for something that can do it all, and don’t mind sacrificing a little when it comes to gaming performance. Storage and RAM
A pretty standard offering here, which includes 32GB of DDR5 and a 2TB SSD. In terms of RAM, that’s more than enough to keep everything running smoothly and make for an overall snappy and responsive computing experience. The storage is large enough for a large gaming library, without too much in the way of management. Even if you’re also using it to store creative files, like large PSDs or 4K footage, you shouldn’t run out of space too quickly.
Things to consider
For the price, this PC is great, but it’s a build tailored more towards hybrid usage, rather than flat-out gaming. For similarly priced alternatives that will be better suited to high fps gaming, we’d say it’s worth checking out RTX 5080, Ryzen 7 7800X3D prebuilds. This CPU has a massive 96MB L3 cache, which is designed to boost gaming performance by reducing frame latency. Since it’s a couple of years old, it’s dropped in price a fair bit since release, and it’s still pretty future-proof, too, considering it’s AM5.
