Sunday Morning Open Thread with Music by Jesse Welles

Good, morning, everyone.  Today’s featured artist is the folk/activist, singer/songwriter Jesse Wells. His songs are reminiscent of earlier folk musicians but yet still fresh. With all the trouble the current administration is inflicting on us we can use an artist to stand up for the little guy. Jesse fits that bill perfectly.

Morning Open Thread is a daily, copyrighted post from a host of editors and guest writers. We support our community, invite and share ideas, and encourage thoughtful, respectful dialog in an open forum.

Join us, please.

My two kitties got the zoomies at 9:30 last night. Minty came up on my bed and began bopping Rogan in the face. He fussed then got up and ran into the living room. Minty took out after him. She chased him back up on the bed and then back into the living room twice more. I was awake by then after about three hours of sleep.

I’m kicking myself in the rear end now for staying up to watch the 10:00 PM news. It’s 4:30 AM now. I haven’t been able to get back to sleep since. If I am not around when this diary publishes I will probably be sleeping again. I want to grab a little more sleep before I run a few errands in town later. I was going to bike there for the first time this season. It’s no fun doing than when I’m dead to the world.

We’re always looking for new diarists whether to assume weekly duties or for a one shot deal. Contact either officebss or Ozarkblue if you’re interested.

Now on with the vids.

So what’s on your mind this morning?
