Suns lookahead. Phoenix faces NBA All-Star players in homestand


The Phoenix Suns continue a four-game homestand Feb. 22 against the Portland Trail Blazers in the second of a back-to-back at Mortgage Matchup Center.

The Suns will then face the Boston Celtics on Feb. 24 and conclude the homestand against the Los Angeles Lakers on Feb. 26.

Phoenix is 2-0 versus Portland, 2-1 against the Lakers and has yet to play the Celtics.

The Blazers, Celtics and Lakers each have All-Stars on their respective teams.

Blazers forward Deni Avdija made his first All-Star appearance Feb. 15 in the 2026 NBA All-Star Game at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

Avdija entered the All-Star break averaging 25.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and 6.6 assists in 46 games.

Celtics forward Jaylen Brown is a five-time All-Star. He was putting up 29.3 points, 6.9 rebounds and 4.7 assists in 49 games going into the All-Star break.

The Lakers had two All-Stars in LeBron James and Luka Doncic.

James is an NBA-record 22-time All-Star. He entered the All-Star break averaging 22 points, 7.1 assists and 5.8 rebounds in 36 games.

Doncic is a six-time All-Star.

Leading the NBA in scoring at 32.8 points per game in 42 games going into the All-Star break, Doncic played five minutes in the All-Star game due to a left hamstring strain.

Devin Booker made his fifth All-Star appearance for the Suns. He was averaging 25.2 points, 6.3 assists and four rebounds in 43 games.
