If you’re a fan of sprawling platformers akin to Super Mario Odyssey and Astro Bot, you’re not going to want to miss this last chance free PC offering.
Developed and published by GGTech Studios, eWorlds is a charming 3D platforming narrative adventure that first landed back in 2024.
You step into the shoes of an astronaut who crash lands on a tropical island not featured on any star map.
eWorlds Is Switching To A Paid Model After 18 Months of Free-To-Play Fun
“Among palm trees, forgotten ruins, and mysterious technology, you soon discover the truth: you’ve landed on Lost World, a convergence point between worlds… and the first link in something far greater,” eWorlds’ synopsis begins.
It continues, “This place is only the gateway to the Space HUB, an ancient interdimensional nexus capable of connecting entire realities.
“For centuries, the Space HUB has remained sealed, fragmented into artifacts known as Loops, scattered across the multiverse. Without them, the portals stay closed… and worlds remain isolated.
“Among all the Loops, one is spoken of in legend: the Golden Loop. It is said that whoever finds it will not only restore balance to the multiverse, but also uncover the true origin of the connected worlds… and the reason they began to collapse.”
As you’ve perhaps guessed, your goal is to run, jump, and dodge your way through the game’s various levels, collecting lost loops.

Players will traverse through “ancient civilisations, abandoned futuristic stations, and impossible landscapes” that “will test your wit, reflexes, and curiosity”.
As with all platformers, there’s a clear path forwards but eWorlds also features alternative routes, hidden platforms, and secret areas, so you’re going to want to scour each and every level.
Traversal is aided by ancient power-ups. A hammer will help you break obstacles, while there’s an umbrella for gliding.
No platformer would be complete either without a grappling hook.
eWorlds also features a co-op mode and time trials. As you can likely tell, it’s jam-packed with content, boasting a typical runtime of over 10 hours.
Ever since launch, eWorlds has been free-to-play, but that’ll change very soon.
On 16 April, the game will transition to a paid model which means you only have a few days left to secure it for free on PC storefront Steam.
Admittedly, eWorlds will only cost $3.99 after its free-to-play era ends and this cost is designed to help the devs keep the servers online.

Even still, there will be some itching to get their hands on this time-limited freebie.
“We want to be completely transparent with all of you, for now eWorlds is a completed, handcrafted adventure,” the GGTech Studios team said announcing the shift.
“Because of this, there is no further development or new content planned at this time. If the opportunity arises in the future, we would love to create more, but right now, our goal is to present a finished, closed experience for an accessible price.
“Thank you all for playing, for your patience with the servers, and for all the love in your reviews. See you in the Hub!”
