For RAM and storage, the Dell Pro Precision 7 14 can be outfitted with up to 64 GB of dual-channel LPDDR5X-8533 memory and up to 4 TB of PCIe Gen 5 Self-Encrypting Drives (SSD).
Sadly, the Dell Pro Precision 7 14 is rather limited in terms of connectivity. There are only two Thunderbolt 4, two Thunderbolt 5, an audio jack, and an SD card reader. Dells packs a Type-C dongle with additional ports, including Type-A, in the box.
Rounding off the Dell Precision 7 14 is a modern Dell keyboard with mini LED backlighting, a large haptic trackpad, and a fast-charging 76 Wh battery.
Dell Pro Precision 7 16
The Dell Pro Precision 7 16 is almost the same laptop as the Dell Pro Precision 7 14, as it shares the Intel Panther Lake CPU options, the 64 GB LPDDR5X RAM, and the chassis design. However, the Dell Pro Precision 7 16 can be outfitted with a more powerful GPU, more storage, and a better display.
The Dell Pro Precision 7 16 has two display options: A 16-inch FHD panel and a 4K Tandem OLED display. Both displays covers 100% DCI-P3, feature 120 Hz VRR, and 500 nits of brightness. The Tandem OLED panel is rated for Vesa DisplayHDR True Black 1000.
Just like the 14-inch version, these display options can either be powered by Intel Panther Lake iGPUs or a dGPU. However, unlike the 14-inch SKU, the Pro Precision 16 can feature up to an RTX Pro 3000 Blackwell GPU with 12 GB of GDDR7 VRAM.
