Located on Bethnal Green Road, the founders of Clara’s Deli have overhauled a spot that had been derelict for a decade into a new East London hotspot in just a matter of months. Opening its doors a few weeks ago, Clara’s operates as a cafe and deli during the day, selling charcuterie, cheeses and butchery cuts alongside produce from HG Walter and Neal’s Yard Dairy. In the evening, the space is transformed with white tablecloths and candles, serving a menu that includes mussel toast, spiced lamb neck, pumpkin, cavalo nero and feta pie, and a croissant bread and butter pudding to finish – a must try!
