A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving:

A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving is a classic Thanksgiving film to watch. The characters are likable, Snoopy is absolutely adorable and the soundtrack is great. If you haven’t seen this, you’re missing out on one of the best Thanksgiving themed movies of all time. The animation quality is fantastic for its time, and each character is incredibly likable. I never miss watching this with my family.
Planes, Trains, and Automobiles:

This movie is a comedy classic that takes place around the Thanksgiving season. Del is delightfully wonderful as a character, and it’s so fun seeing the dynamic between him and Neal. This is a perfect comedy watch for turkey season. I’m a sucker for duo’s that are completely different in personality, so this movie was a hoot for me.
Free Birds:

Free Birds is an absolutely hilarious movie starring Owen Wilson as a turkey. Just that premise alone is weird, but the concept of time travel is introduced and that skyrockets this story into pure comedy. You may know this movie by the line “We’re going back in time to the first Thanksgiving to get turkeys OFF the menu.” As long as you don’t take this movie too seriously, you’ll be able to laugh a lot at the meta humor.
Thankskilling:

This movie is a strange indie horror film about an evil, sassy turkey who murders horny teens on Thanksgiving. This is probably the weirdest horror movie I have ever seen. The turkey is a fantastic puppet, however the movie itself is so odd I can’t help but be entranced. The human characters are pretty unlikable, although this is the case for most terrible horror movies and horror in general. If you like bad horror movies, watch this ASAP.
The Thanksgiving Movie:

In my journey to watch Thanksgiving movies, I came across this absolute nightmare of a movie. It’s a HORRIBLY animated, terribly designed mess. It’s supposed to be a family movie, but any child I know would be scared to death by the awful characters. There is barely a plot, and it’s so bad it’s almost a pain to get through. It’s unfunny, there is no plot, and the poster honestly makes no sense for the movie either. I’d only recommend watching this movie with friends or if you’re in the right state of mind to suffer through it.
