The Fashion 101 On Harry Styles’s Brit Awards 2026 Look

The week before the Brit Awards, we began to hear murmurs about Harry Styles’s red-carpet look. It would be fabulous and it would be womenswear focused and there would be a very specific shoe moment. Reader, we spent a large portion of the next few days dreaming up what the next step on from that ballet pump could be. We’d show you the moodboard, but it’s filed somewhere in our minds between this week’s dispatches from Milan Fashion Week, featuring the Bella Hadid-ification of the Prada runway and Maria Grazia Chiuri bringing back Karl Lagerfeld collars at Fendi. We never miss a beat!

So, with the autumn/winter 2026 shows rumbling on in the background, it’s fair to say we lost grip of reality in terms of what Styles and his stylist, Harry Lambert, could summon up for Brits. Perhaps unseen Jonathan Anderson for Dior ready-to-wear (his sophomore women’s show is in Paris on 3 March)? Maybe the rarest archival Prada flex in line with Lambert’s eBay ambassadorship? In the end, Chanel clinched the deal.

The look – a black-and-white bouclé pinstripe jacket with matching trousers, and a pale mint pinstripe cotton shirt, aka look 39 from Chanel’s Métiers d’art 2026 collection – is in line with the style direction for Harry’s latest album, Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally. With the tone set by the disco-ball bathed album artwork shot by Vogue favourite Johnny Dufort, the fashion rollout has been similarly colour-saturated (think of that mustard Miu Miu jumper and Prada bowling pin shirt and tie), and humour-filled (all those Elton John-adjacent sunglasses sourced by General Eyewear Vintage), with a particular penchant for accessories deemed “feminine” (name another performer able to get the male population to flirt with the idea of mint-green, bow-bedecked Dior mules).
