The streets of Paris and NYC have been flooded with one specific handbag style recently: pouch bags. This was immediately apparent at Paris Fashion Week outside of the Celine runway show, where attendees were clutching one of the brand’s latest bags, the Crystal Pouch. The leather lambskin bag features a drawstring and gold-finished Triomphe closures, is printed with the brand name in the corner, and comes in vibrant shades like Ultra Blue as well as subtle Safari beige and Black.
Prada, too, debuted a pouch-shaped bag for spring 2026 with its Wish Pouch. The Italian fashion house’s version is executed in satin with a small logo tag in the center. Other cool insider brands such as Sophie Buhai have takes on the buzzy pouch bag in their collections. All signs point to the pouch bag as the fresh bag trend the fashion set will wear in 2026.
