The Josephine, a stunning new event space on Napoleon Avenue, is a beautifully adaptable venue on the central Uptown corridor and a love letter to Our Lady Of Lourdes. The meticulous restoration preserved the grand Spanish Mission-style church, originally dedicated in 1925. Its arched windows, intricate terrazzo floors and gilt trim create a timeless backdrop for gatherings both intimate and grand. Massive wooden doors open to the Main Hall’s pristine white walls under a soaring domed roof, its historic altar remaining in place. The Lourdes Grotto is covered in luscious green Spanish moss with cheeky neon touches encouraging selfies. Flanking courtyards offer outdoor space and the former choir loft is now the Josephine Suite, a luxurious wedding-day retreat with a balcony view of the Main Hall reimagined with the bride in mind. New Orleans hospitality is provided exclusively by Dickie Brennan & Co. Catering with the signature warmth and culinary excellence the name represents. The exquisite venue continues to honor its past celebrating history, beauty and the art of gathering in true New Orleans style.
