FRANKLIN, Ky. – The Mint Gaming Hall Kentucky Downs says it is transforming into the state’s “ultimate Big Game destination for the professional football championship” on Sunday, Feb. 8.
According to a release by The Mint Gaming Hall Kentucky Downs, the Big Game will bring together a full entertainment experience at The Mint, including championship-level viewing inside of the Circa Sportsbook, food and beverage specials, Circa Sports’ Circa Squares® betting contest, giveaways and more.
“We’re looking forward to hosting everyone for a big day of fun, food, and football in a high energy and fresh environment,” said Johan Mirkovic, vice president and general manager of The Mint Gaming Hall at Kentucky Downs. “To our loyal fans, expect a big day; and for those experiencing the property for the first time, we can’t wait to see your reactions and exceed your expectations.”
The event will kick off the new tradition on property, where fans can gather each year to celebrate the biggest games.
Derek Stevens, CEO of Circa Sports said, “This is the kind of moment we build sportsbooks for. Our first Big Game Bash at The Mint is about creating an unforgettable shared experience – great seats, jaw dropping screens, the best odds and a room full of fans who love the game as much as we do. This is just the beginning of what we plan to deliver here for major sports watch parties.”
According to the release, the 5,100-square-foot sportsbook will bring together premium reserved seating, an 80-foot-wide LED screen, real-time odds and a high-energy crowd.
In addition, the release says fans can choose from the Circa Club, which includes large, private booths for up to eight people, delivering a VIP group setting, the Champions Club (middle), offering booth seating for two people, Champions Club (corner) with booth seating for four people, and the Legends Club, which offers recliner seating for one person.
Fans can also take part in Circa Sports’ Circa Squares®, which will allow bettors to wager on the combination of the last digits of each team’s score at the end of each quarter and the final score.
The Mint states odds on each square are “locked in at the time of the wager and pay out if the bet wins.” In addition, The Mint states bettors can choose “exactly which squares they want, place wagers on multiple squares and select different squares for different quarters, including the first, second and third quarters, as well as the final score.”
Guests can also enjoy two-for-one Touchdown Burgers at Corner Café from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., $3 domestic bottled beers, $3 well drinks and $3 brisket dogs from the hot dog cart located near Circa Sports Kentucky, according to the release. Drink specials will also be offered during the game at Circa Sportsbook, Midnight Bourbon, Oasis, Bit & Barrel and a beer cart on the gaming floor.
Players using a Mint Rewards card will also receive a Free Play every time there is a score during the game, according to The Mint, along with a mobile app promotion that will allow guests to choose a team and win Free Play at the end of each quarter. Additional activations include a purse giveaway from noon to 4 p.m., jersey giveaways, a free spin on a football-themed kiosk game and a new sign up promotion featuring a complimentary kiosk spin, The Mint says.
