Throughout the show, Istituto Marangoni Miami’s emphasis on technical rigor and conceptual thinking was evident, along with the school’s encouragement to question, challenge, and push beyond what’s expected.
Even within that tension, there were moments of pure spectacle. One standout look featured a skirt that billowed around the model like a golden parachute.
Beyond the runway, the sense of future-building extends outward. The show supported Think Together, a nonprofit that partners with schools and communities across the state to support students through after-school programs, early learning, and family engagement.
Thanks to Fashion Week education sponsor Jordan Schnitzer, local high school students were in the audience, witnessing the possibilities unfold in real time. Students arrived an hour before the reception began for a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the show and a special presentation with Schnitzer and Fashion Week director Susan Stein.
Judging by what unfolded on the runway, the next chapter of fashion may already be in motion.
