Your Purchase Helps Dogs in Need

Fifty percent of proceeds go directly to support dogs in need through PETA’s Doghouse Program, which provides critical care to neglected dogs who are kept chained and/or penned outside 24/7. Donations can also help replace short, heavy chains with long, lightweight tethers, allowing dogs some small measure of comfort and expanding their living space.
Through this program, dogs in underserved communities in rural parts of Virginia and North Carolina receive:
- Nutritious food and fresh, clean water
- Custom-built doghouses for protection from the elements
- Insulating straw bedding to help retain body heat in colder months
- Free spay/neuter surgeries, including transport to and from PETA’s mobile clinics
- Affection, care, and toys from PETA fieldworkers
So far, the program has delivered over 8,400 doghouses, often the first adequate shelter these dogs have ever known.
