Shifting away from the rich burgundy and chocolate-brown tones of autumn/winter, this season it’s all about leaning into joy. The ‘analogue’ trend has completely taken over our TikTok feeds this year, and it seems the spring/summer 2026 runways were well and truly literary-inspired too. From Celine and Prada to Bottega Veneta, we’ve seen knitted turtlenecks and cosy cardis layered with smart shirts for a uniform feel. As for accessories, think capes, scarves and oversized totes leaning into the romanticised writer aesthetic. We’re here for the fantasy!

It’s officially time to inject some fun into your wardrobe for the new season. From cobalt blue to postbox red, bold hues are back in a powerful way after dominating the runway. Fresh, vibrant and beautifully optimistic, this season we saw Loewe’s new creative directors, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, bring joy to the runway with what they’ve called ‘printer-cartridge hues.’ Think bright leather jackets and striped polo dresses with equally playful accessories to match. We love!

We know, groundbreaking. But, is it really spring if floral prints don’t come out to play? They are practically a sign that brighter, warmer days are on the horizon (we hope) and this year is no different. If the runway is anything to go by, there will be no shortage of florals this season. From Celine’s floral mini dresses to Rabanne’s retro swimwear-inspired two-pieces, this season’s florals are cooler, bolder and unapologetically colourful.

Sorry trench coats, this season it’s all about the leather jacket. Of course, the transitional wardrobe staple has had a refresh for the new season. From vibrant green at Loewe to rich olive hues at Bottega Veneta, the latest leathers are suitably punchy. If bright, bold colour isn’t your vibe, there’s still plenty of classic styles to have on your radar. Look to Khaite’s red jacket with mega shoulder pads, Prada’s classic black leather with an oversized fit or Jil Sander’s suitably chic chocolate-brown style.
