‘Thrifted and Thriving’ fashion show to benefit Salvation Army thrift store in Marion, Ill.

MARION, Ill. (KFVS) – The Salvation Army of Southern Illinois will host a fashion show fundraiser to benefit its Marion thrift store.

“Thrifted and Thriving” will be Friday, April 10 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the thrift store.

Organizers say the sold-out event will have more than 80 attendees and feature 17 local models showcasing looks sourced from the thrift store.

They say DeeEllen White, a Marion resident who lost her home in the May 2025 tornado, will share her testimony.

The event will also feature more than 20 raffle items.
