French model Thylane Blondeau is celebrating her 25th birthday, years after first capturing global attention as a child model who was once dubbed the “most beautiful girl in the world.” Now an established presence in the fashion industry, Blondeau continues to draw interest from fans who have followed her journey.
“And just like that… 25,” Blondeau captioned an Instagram post on Sunday, April 5. She also shared the very photo that went viral two decades ago. “Forever grateful for this beautiful life, my family, my fiancé, my friends, my work, my brand and you guys. There’s one person missing today Mon Gégé. I miss you and I love you,” she added.
Blondeau received many congratulatory messages from some of her 6.8 million Instagram followers for her birthday milestone; the majority of the messages were written in French.
“Happy bday our queen. You are inspiration for many of us, i wish you all the best and i hope you will enjoy your big day,” one person wrote.
“Happy bday beauty queen,” someone else said.
Blondeau was named “Most Beautiful Girl in the World” by Vogue Enfants in 2006. She’s had an impressive career, modeling for Jean Paul Gaultier, Dolce & Gabbana and Hugo Boss, to name a few.
These days, Blondeau is still modeling, and is signed to IMG models. She is very active on social media, often sharing pictures from recent photoshoots or candids that she snapped on her various travels around the globe.
Less than a month ago, Blondeau announced that she’s engaged to beau, French actor Benjamin Attal.
“I said yes to my best friend,” she captioned an Instagram post. “Here’s to forever.”
