Minneapolis-St. Paul – The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced the team has signed guard Zyon Pullin to a two-way contract. Per team policy, terms of the agreement were not released.
Pullin, 6-4, has appeared in 14 games (all starts) for the Iowa Wolves this season, the NBA G League affiliate of the Timberwolves, averaging 23.8 points on 55.7% shooting, including 48.8% from deep and 84.1% from the free throw line, 3.2 rebounds and 5.8 assists in 35.4 minutes per game.
The Pleasant Hill, Calif. native was named the NBA G League Player of the Month for November, where he averaged 27.7 points on 66.7% shooting, including 54.5% from three and 90.3% from the free throw line, 3.0 rebounds and 5.7 assists in 34.0 minutes per game.
The 24-year-old guard appeared in 142 games (104 starts) collegiately, playing four seasons at University of California Riverside and one season at the University of Florida, owning career averages of 12.8 points on 46.0% shooting, including 37.8% from deep, 4.1 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 30.0 minutes per contest. Pullin was named to the 2024 First Team All-SEC following his senior season with the Gators.
