Greece, N.Y. — The Monroe County Department of Public Health is investigating a dog attack that took place Thursday morning.
The Greece Police Department responded around 12:25 p.m. to a home on Castleford Road for a reported dog bite incident involving a 21-month-old child.
Officers found the young victim being treated at the scene for a laceration to their forehead, police said. They were taken to a local hospital for further evaluation.
Police said the dog involved is the family’s pet.
