QD-OLED display
This display is QD-OLED, which essentially combines Quantum Dot and OLED technology together for improved color and brightness to most older OLED monitors. This monitor has a VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, which is a very good sign that it delivers the goods when it comes to brightness, color, and deep blacks. For color, it’s got 99% DCI-P3 coverage and Delta E<2 accuracy, which means you’re getting a super wide color range, but also something that’s incredibly lifelike, too. For brightness, to get this VESA DisplayHDR certification, it needs to be able to achieve at least 400 nits of peak brightness, so you can expect bright highlights in-game or when watching HDR content. And for contrast, it’s 1.5 million: 1, so expect very deep, near-zero blacks.
240Hz, 0.03ms response time, and more
This monitor is 240Hz, which means it can hit 240fps at QHD, which is great for fast-paced gaming, especially with its lower response time, which will ensure that on-screen movement remains super clear, without motion blur. It features FreeSync Premium Pro, which basically means that this monitor is able to make HDR content look super smooth and can compensate when framerates dip very low, alongside all the standard anti-screen-tearing capabilities the base-level of FreeSync offers. Interestingly, it’s also VESA Certified ClearMR 13000. This literally measures clear to blurry pixel ratios in monitors, and getting a ClearMR 13000 rating essentially means that motion blur, even at super high speeds, is incredibly low.

For something that’s more performance-first and a little more affordable in most cases than ASUS, I’d go with MSI.
