The RTX 5070 Ti is one of the best graphics cards for 1440p gaming and offers solid 4K performance, too. Compared to the more affordable RTX 5070, it has more memory, coming in at 16GB of GDDR7, making it more future-proof and able to handle more demanding modern AAA games, as well as intensive creative workloads, like working in 3D, for example. In terms of performance, it’s a good pick for those who primarily want to game in 1440p at max settings with ray tracing enabled, and still get decent fps, especially when paired with something like the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, as is the case with this build. There are some close competitors, like the RX 9070 XT 16GB, but they fall short as they don’t have GDDR7 or the latest 4th-gen ray tracing cores, and 5th gen tensor cores which feature in Nvidia’s 50-series. Overall, it’s an excellent GPU, and one that typically keeps prebuild prices well below $3,000, too.
Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor
The Ryzen 7 9800X3D is an excellent processor for gaming, multitasking and content creation. Things to consider
Skytech King gaming PCs are super popular as they tick all the boxes with design and performance, but you can get cheaper RTX 5070 Ti models than this one, for sure, and still keep it within Skytech. The Azure lineup is a good place to look, as it’s generally more affordable, but they still look awesome. Check this one out which is currently on sale. You can also find some lower-end RTX 5070 Ti models closer to $2,000, which may have smaller SSDs and potentially an older-gen Intel processor or something like an Intel Core Ultra 7-265K. These are still good, but they’ll lack some of the gaming gravitas of the RTX 5070 Ti, 9800X3D models.
