The Transit Road Drive-In in Lockport is set to open already this week and they are getting ready to show a movie that is very anticipated and caused a lot of buzz.
Even though it’s snowed this past weekend in Western New york, the Transit Road Drive-In will be opened both Friday and Saturday getting ready for the season opening weekend.

What time can you get into the drive-in before the movie? The gates will open up at 7:00 p.m. both this Friday and Saturday to get ready for the movies.
The brand new Mario movie will be showing at the drive-in coming up on Friday. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is about an hour and a half long.
How much does it cost to go to the drive-in nowadays?
You do not pay by the car load anymore and it is by per person that is going to watch the movie or movies. An adult ticket is $12, kids are $8 and if you have a kid that is four or under they are free. Of course at the drive and you get two featured movies so if you are only going to go to the second movie there is a second movie only feature price of $9 and there’s a certain time that you have to get there if you are going to take advantage of that.
In Western New York the window to go to the drive-in is pretty small in terms of weather wise but the Transit drive and does a great job of getting everybody in as soon as the weather breaks so that families can start enjoying the tradition of going together to open up the tailgate and sit and watch a movie together
