Tommy Hilfiger just scored an easy touchdown. Today, the pioneer of American prep announced Travis Kelce as its newest global brand ambassador and creative collaborator.
For those who only know Kelce as Taylor Swift’s fiancé (honestly, fair), here’s a primer: The Kansas City Chiefs player is a three-time Super Bowl champ and 14-year NFL veteran whose dude-bro-but-make-it-fashion moments have made the 36-year-old something of a mascot for guys looking to level up their style game. Kelce has some experience with this—last year, he paired with American Eagle on his personal clothing brand, Tru Kolors, which he created in 2019.
For Tommy Hilfiger, Kelce will star in the brand’s fall 2026 campaign, followed by a design collaboration in spring 2027 where Kelce will bring his own magic touch (and millions of fans) to the 41-year-old American sportswear label.
“Travis Kelce is one of the most magnetic figures in sport and culture today,” said Tommy Hilfiger in a statement. “He is at the forefront of a new generation of athletes expressing themselves through style.” For his part, Kelce’s connection to the brand is genuinely personal. “Ever since high school, when I used to ask my mom to buy [Tommy Hilfiger] Sailing Gear jackets, I’ve been drawn toward the brand’s confident style,” he said.
Past Tommy Hilfiger collaborators include Zendaya, Gigi Hadid, Lewis Hamilton, and Rafael Nadal. But thanks to Kelce’s easy star power, along with his upcoming nuptials with Taylor Swift, this partnership in particular feels like it’s set up to score big.
