
A 54-year-old truck driver was killed early Friday in a crash in the mountainous region of Agrafa in central Greece.
The accident occurred near Metaxades Prasias village when the vehicle veered off the road under unclear circumstances and plunged into a 40-meter ravine, according to local media.
Firefighters recovered the driver unconscious, and he was taken by ambulance to a nearby health center in Frangista, where he was pronounced dead.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash, while a forensic examination has been ordered to clarify the conditions surrounding the incident.
