Tickts, a new UK-built ticketing platform, has launched today (March 23) offering both zero booking fees for fans and zero commission on ticket sales for event organisers.
According to Tickts, the only transaction cost is Stripe’s standard card processing rate of 1.5% + 20p per paid ticket. Free events have no fees at all.
“Ticketing fees have long been a source of frustration for both fans and organisers,” said a statement from Tickts.
As well aiming to appeal to fans with no fees, the new platform is targeting organisers in the grassroots sector with its offer of zero commission on sales. The Music Venue Trust has highlighted how rising costs are threatening the survival of independent venues across the UK.
Tickts operates on a freemium model with minimum event sizes. Organisers get a free starter plan with a feature set including: interactive seating plans with best available selection; promo codes, multi-date event support; Embeddable ticket widget for organiser websites; QR scanner app for door entry; box office and point-of-sale for walk-up sales; and real-time analytics dashboard.

Optional paid plans for organisers unlock advanced features including payment plans, waitlist management, email campaigns, affiliate tracking, checkout questions, group discounts, ticket transfers, full analytics, and more.
A Pro tier also includes season passes, queue management for high-demand on-sales, white-label branded storefronts, fan CRM, API access, priority support and unlimited team members.
According to Tickts, the platform was built with the DMCC Act’s drip-pricing provisions in mind to benefit fans. Total costs are shown upfront at every stage of checkout, so there are no hidden fees, service charges or delivery charges.
“Fans shouldn’t have to pay more than the price on the ticket. Tickts was built on a simple principle — zero booking fees, zero service charges, zero surprises at checkout,” said Tickts CEO David O’Keefe. “We give organisers powerful tools to sell out their events, and fans get a fair deal every time. We’re launching on March 23 and we can’t wait to shake up ticketing in the UK.”
