Hers Bridal will celebrate its fiftieth anniversary with the Vogue and Bows Fashion Show on December 6 at the boutique’s location at 728 Main St. The event is hosted by Hers Bridal and His Department, the shop’s newly added men’s formalwear division.
VIP entry begins at 4PM with early access, cocktails, and swag bags. General admission opens at 5:30PM, and the runway show is scheduled to start at 6:30PM. Tickets are $70 for VIP entry and $25 for regular seating.
Organizers said the show is designed as a high-energy, editorial-style experience featuring couture gowns, local boutiques, and bow-inspired styling elements. The event includes fashion presented by Say Baby, Simply Chic, Sloans Formal, Squires, and Hers Bridal, along with His Department’s speakeasy-style men’s formalwear offerings.
Guests will see signature bow décor, pink carpet runway staging, photo installations, and a 45-minute fashion presentation. VIP guests will have access to an early cocktail hour, and food and beverage options will include a cash bar from Under Dawgs, a mash potato bar by Pork and Fork, and desserts by Three Little Bs. A bourbon bar and cigar-themed swag will be offered in an exclusive speakeasy area in His Department.
The show will feature a live DJ, professional photography and videography, and a livestream with SB Magazine. Couture gowns ranging from $1,500–$3,000 and formalwear from local boutiques will be included on the runway. Giveaways are planned, including a grand prize of $400 toward a formal at Sloans Formalwear.
Hers Bridal, established in 1975, is one of Louisiana’s longest-operating bridal boutiques. Owner Alicia Adams said the milestone event highlights the business’s growth, local partnerships, and the role the bridal industry plays in North Louisiana’s economy.
