Warner Bros. Launches “Rabbit Season” Loaring Across Games, Streaming, and Live Events

Spring is getting a classic cartoon twist as Warner Bros. Discovery rolls out “Rabbit Season,” a month-long Looney Tunes celebration packed with gaming crossovers, streaming content, retail collaborations, and live appearances. Announced on March 26, 2026, the event puts a spotlight on Bugs Bunny, Lola Bunny, and the rest of the beloved Looney Tunes crew.

This move signals a broader push by Warner Bros. Discovery to reestablish Looney Tunes as a cross-platform franchise for a new generation, blending nostalgia with modern platforms where audiences are actively engaging.

Inspired by April Fools’ Day, the initiative expands the spirit of the classic “Rabbit Season” gag into a full-scale, multi-platform experience. Warner Bros. Discovery described the campaign as transforming a single day of tricks into a broader celebration of clever comedy, chaotic fun, and ACME-style nonsense, while leaning into the same wild energy that has made Looney Tunes a beloved global franchise for generations.

For longtime fans, it is also a rare moment where Looney Tunes feels fully back at the center of pop culture, rather than existing only as legacy content.

Gaming plays a major role in the festivities, with Bugs Bunny making his debut in Fortnite. Timed to the event launch, the iconic rabbit appears with themed accessories, including pickaxes, the CarroT-N-T Back Bling, and his signature “Eh, What’s Up Doc?” emote. Players can also spot him in the new Spawn Island teaser, while Daffy Duck and Lola Bunny join the in-game shop with their own outfits and themed items.

On the streaming side, fans can jump into both modern and classic animated adventures. Platforms like Max will feature series such as Looney Tunes Cartoons, Bugs Bunny Builders, and Tiny Toons Looniversity, while Tubi will offer more than 700 classic shorts for free. Warner Bros. Discovery is also rolling out a month-long livestream on WB Kids’ YouTube channels with nonstop Looney Tunes episodes, alongside the debut of a new digital series, Gokko Looney Tunes, which begins with a special Rabbit Season episode.

The campaign also extends well beyond screens. New merchandise and collaborations are arriving throughout April, including a LEGO Looney Tunes Bugs Bunny set and apparel collections from brands such as Samii Ryan and Posh Peanut. The initiative also begins building momentum for future releases tied to the 30th anniversary of Space Jam.

Rabbit Season will also have a real-world presence, with Bugs Bunny and Lola Bunny scheduled to appear at the NCAA Men’s Final Four Tip-Off Tailgate from April 3 through April 6 at the Pizza Hut stage. Fans can also tie the promotion back to another Looney legacy with the limited-edition Space Jam Triple Treat Box from Pizza Hut.

Warner Bros. Discovery says the month-long celebration is designed to give fans multiple ways to reconnect with the franchise, whether through games, streaming, shopping, or live events. With fresh stories to watch, new gear to pick up, surprise appearances, and Looney chaos popping up across both digital and real-world spaces, Rabbit Season positions Bugs Bunny and company at the center of spring entertainment.
