The Warriors are adding depth to the back end of their NBA roster.
Golden State is signing G-League guard Nate Williams to a two-way contract, The Stein Line’s Jake Fischer reported Monday, citing league sources.
The 27-year-old Williams, in 22 games played for the Long Island Nets this season, is averaging 17.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game on 48.2-percent shooting from the field and 34.5 percent from 3-point range.
Williams went undrafted in 2022, and spent three seasons in the G League with the Salt Lake City Stars (2022-23) and Rio Grande Valley Vipers (2023-24, 2024-25) before this season with the Nets.
Golden State has an open two-way roster spot after converting standout guard Pat Spencer to a standard NBA contract on Feb. 7, and it appears Williams will be the one to fill it.
