Right now, we remain in the state of bliss that is Paris Fashion Week. Since March 2, the French capital has been a hive of activity with the Fall 2026 season of PFW now in full swing.
The first major player up on the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode’s jam-packed schedule was that of Christian Dior. The showcase from the storied French fashion house marked the sophomore womenswear outing from Jonathan Anderson. On a crisp sunny afternoon, Anderson welcomed guests like Charlize Theron and Anya Taylor-Joy to the Jardin des Tuileries for a collection brimming with romance and wanderlust. On the opposite end of the scale, Anthony Vaccarello at Saint Laurent dialed up the drama (and then some) for a collection that revisited Monsieur Saint Laurent’s iconic 1966 “Le Smoking” jacket.
Antonin Tron has since made his highly anticipated debut as Balmain creative director, Sarah Burton presented her third offering at Givenchy, and Pieter Mulier rounded out his tenure at Alaïa – before heading to Milan to head up Versace. Sleek suits, slinky gowns, and pure glamour were in high order at Haider Ackermann’s Tom Ford. For her latest Chloé collection, Chemena Kamalai was inspired by traditional dress and folkloric craft.
