Watch the Stunning Music Video for Disclosure’s New Single, ‘The Sun Comes Up Tremendous’

Filmed along the California coastline, the video signals Disclosure’s continued push towards narrative-driven storytelling.

Disclosure‘s new single ‘The Sun Comes Up Tremendous’ dropped this week alongside a video that suggests the sunset might be just as impressive.

Out now following Disclosure’s recent Grammy nomination, the track marks the duo’s first release of 2026 and features lead vocals from member Howard Lawrence, adding a personal touch that anchors the song’s reflective tone. Built on soft keys, subtle percussion and airy vocal layers, the production embraces a spacious and reflective sound while reinforcing the duo’s signature sense of groove and their identity as meticulous storytellers.

The music video is where the release fully takes shape. Directed by Colt Grice and Moldyroom, the visual places Howard and his brother Guy inside an open-air structure perched above the California coastline. The setting feels intentionally minimal, allowing the natural landscape to do much of the storytelling. As the sun sets behind them, the scene gradually shifts in tone, with warm light giving way to darkness in a progression that mirrors the track’s evolution.

That transition becomes more pronounced in the second half of the video, where both the music and visuals take on a more abstract and unpredictable character. The shift suggests a deliberate narrative arc, moving from clarity into something more immersive and disorienting. It reflects Disclosure’s growing interest in pairing their music with visuals that extend the emotional and conceptual reach of their work.
