Last week provided some exciting news: The NBA is exploring ownership for a Las Vegas expansion franchise.
All indications are that the city will have an NBA franchise ready for the 2028-29 season.
But what will they call the new team?
How about you give us some ideas.
We’re not in charge of naming the team, but we’re going to collect the best names you submit this week and create our own name-the-team poll.
First, send your best nickname for the new team to sportsdesk@reviewjournal.com. Keep the names clean, you don’t have to explain yourself, and the meaning should stand on its own. Entries close on Wednesday.
