The British Fashion Awards Announces That Little Simz will be awarded the Cultural Innovator Award
Multi-award winning artist Little Simz is to be honoured with the Cultural Innovator Award at The British Fashion Awards, in partnership with Pandora. The award celebrates the leading innovators and iconoclasts of the entertainment industry, who have had a deep and meaningful impact on fashion and culture over the last year.
Laura Weir, the Chief Executive of the British Fashion Council, said of Simz’ success: “Little Simz is a generational voice whose work expands culture itself. She is fearless in her creativity, uncompromising in her honesty and endlessly inventive in the way she brings music, fashion and storytelling together. She reshapes the landscape rather than simply moving within it, setting new standards for what British artistry can be.”
The British Fashion Awards are taking place on December 1st at the Royal Albert Hall.
