With Easter falling early this year, many people are asking when the time will change. However, the switch to daylight saving time will follow its usual schedule.
As every year, clocks will move forward on the last Sunday of March. In 2026, that will take place in the early hours of Sunday, March 29.
Specifically, at 03:00 a.m., clocks will be set forward one hour to 04:00 a.m., meaning we will lose one hour of sleep but gain longer daylight in the evenings.
Daylight saving time will remain in effect until Sunday, October 25, 2026, when clocks will move back one hour and return to standard (winter) time.
The seasonal time change continues to be observed across most European countries, despite ongoing discussions in recent years about potentially abolishing the practice.
