The nonprofit, The Music Company (TMC), celebrates its three-year anniversary of expanding music career pathways in San Diego with a new monthly series, Women in Music SD, supporting female artists, producers, DJs, and songwriters. Launching on Thursday, March 26 at 7 p.m., the event series will feature conversations and collaborations around navigating today’s music industry and will continue to take place on the 4th Thursday of each month in 2026.
TMC’s mission is to nurture the next generation of music talent by providing vital resources that are often inaccessible to independent and emerging artists. Through affordable, professional-grade recording and rehearsal spaces, the organization fosters collaboration among musicians, producers, and industry professionals. In 2025, TMC supported 441 artists across more than 1,200 studio bookings, spanning recording sessions, rehearsals, DJ practice, and creative production.
