The win was sealed by Nusken in the 82nd minute when the Germany international placed a curling finish into the top corner to claim an important win.
“A lot of emotions. A great result. It was the most important thing for us to win this game,” said Bompastor.
”In terms of performance, Villa put the battle up there for us. They scored first and I think we had a great reaction, from losing 1-0 to score three goals in the first half.
“If I’m being honest, it is not good enough from us to concede three goals. Villa only had three shots on goal and scored three in the first half, so we need to be better in defensive aspects, but in the end, we found a way to win the game.
“In the second half we were a lot more in control, we created a lot of opportunities, and we scored one goal and it was enough for us to win.”
She added: “The winning goal was a big one for us. You could see the relief. Right now, the reality is that we are fighting for the Champions League spots and this win is a huge win for us.”
Elsewhere, Kiko Seike’s strike early in the second half sealed a 1-0 win for Brighton & Hove Albion away to struggling Leicester City.
It was a seventh defeat in a row for the hosts, who are now staring down the barrel at a relegation play-off as they sit four points adrift at the bottom of the table.
Brighton moved into the top half of the table in sixth.

A superb volley from Oona Siren earned West Ham a 1-1 draw with London City Lionesses.
Jana Fernandez gave the visitors the lead in the first half, but Siren’s first goal in a Hammers shirt was one to savour as she struck from outside the area.
“It was just flying to me after the free-kick and I was just thinking that I had to smash it,” Siren said of her goal.
”Then it went into the goal and I was surprised, actually. That was the first one [like that], to be honest.
“It feels really good to score my first goal. My goal was to score my first before the season ends, so it was nice.”
West Ham, in 11th, moved a point further clear of bottom side Leicester, while London City are seventh.
