Woodbury Days Festival Set For Aug. 28-30, Live Music Announced – Woodbury News Net

You may still be shoveling the snow off your driveway, but the hard-working, Woodbury Days volunteers have already scheduled the community festival for Friday, August 28 to Sunday, August 30.

“After several years of varying schedules since COVID, we have settled back to the first weekend of the state fair as had been the custom for many years before COVID,” said Paul Huffman, president of Woodbury Days. “This schedule is driven by county and community fairs leading up to the State Fair and the availability of high-quality carnivals in August.”

The professional musicians have also been lined up.

“Woodbury Days focuses on local performers, exclusively from the metro area or nearby western Wisconsin,” Huffman added. “We have particularly sought out performers from the Woodbury area or with local connections. In addition to the paid performances, there will be several young artist performances scheduled on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.”

Friday afternoon (5:00 – 6:30 p.m.): Katelyn White, a young, Woodbury-based country-solo performer, will open and be followed by Crowfather with the Black Wine band, performing hiphop, rap and rock. Crowfather was featured in 2024 as a singer/DJ performance.

Saturday afternoon (3:00 – 4:30 p.m.): Jordan Johnston returns after performing as part of the Talent Showcase in 2024. Johnston is an R&B/pop singer-songwriter from Minneapolis.

From (5:00 – 6:30 p.m.):  Folk/Americana performers Wren and Wilde. This Minnesota folk band performs original music and is known for their reflective songwriting and disarming storytelling.

Sunday afternoon (2:00 – 3:30 PM) The Croix Boys perform family-friendly country music. They are from western Wisconsin and have Woodbury connections.
