There are so many new creative directors redefining the major houses. What are you loving? Change is exciting and necessary in the fashion industry. ‘New’ drives business, and I’m always looking for collections that shift the narrative. Several of the fantastic brands we carry have changed creative directors—Bottega Veneta, Celine, Balenciaga and Loewe. These brands have strong DNA and I’ve loved what I’ve seen so far.
Where do you see fashion heading? The more luxe, the better. I’m currently buying the fall-winter 2026 collections, and almost every collection is showcasing cashmere, leather, suede and shearling.
What can shoppers find at WUNDERKIND this season? Think color, print and interesting combinations. I loved look 39 from the Chloé show and purchased it for the store. The Celine show was also incredibly strong— standouts were look 44 (that skirt!) and the culottes from look 51. The scarf prints were beautiful and covetable.
You’ve been so busy opening stores in Montecito and now Park City. I know. A rolling stone gathers no moss. The Scottsdale store just turned four, and the Montecito locations have been doing very well. Park City is my latest challenge—we’re planning to open late spring.
Why Park City? We’ve hosted summer pop-ups there and have done well. The unique thing about Utah is that there’s no place to buy most of the luxury brands we stock. I’m creating a designer haven on Main Street with ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes and fine jewelry from brands like Alaïa, Chloé, Celine and Phoebe Philo.
