DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) – A local concert cafe is ringing in the new year with 16 hours of live music.
Wussow’s Cafe in West Duluth is going all out to send the community into 2026 with 24 artists performing 40 minutes at a time until midnight Wednesday.
Northern News Now’s Blake Hornstein stopped by Wussow’s Cafe Wednesday evening to catch up with performers, party goers and event organizers.
“We love Wussow’s. They’ve got some really great music, and their local shows have been phenomenal this year.” said one patron, Alysia Tessling.
Jason Wussow, the owner of Wussow’s cafe said the idea simply came together after connecting with artists.
“I, I don’t know! Just answered some emails and some texts and sent out a few messages,” said Jason, “this is like a big friend’s hangout.” Jason says he enjoys ringing in the new year with a bunch of music and a bunch of friends.
