A Chinese tanker has passed through the Strait of Hormuz despite a U.S. naval blockade on Iran ports. The vessel, Rich Starry, carried methanol and became the first known tanker to exit the Gulf since the blockade began.
China has warned the United States that its energy security must not be threatened — raising fears of a wider global confrontation.
