Champions League scores: Live updates as Barcela face Atleti, Liverpool host PSG

Tuesday will see the first teams book their places in the Champions League semifinals, but with both matches featuring teams faced with a two-goal deficit, an early goal could mean everything in determining who makes it through. Barcelona travel away to face Atletico Madrid after falling 2-0 in the first leg and having Pau Cubarsi dismissed with a red card, which will force him to miss this match. A penalty that wasn’t called for Barcelona will need to be left in the past, as the return of Frenkie de Jong to the midfield will improve Barcelona’s ball movement in the clash. As they face each other for the third time in 10 days, this will be a tight clash.

Liverpool will need Anfield to produce magic as they trail 2-0 to Paris Saint-Germain. The reigning champions of the competition, the Parisians are picking up right where they left off, as the attack and midfield could be too much for Liverpool’s defense to handle. Arne Slot’s Reds have toppled Real Madrid at home, and Anfield has been the great equalizer this season, so that could change. However, with PSG in their current form, coming back from a two-goal deficit will be easier said than done.
