NBA Communications shared the news via X.
James sits at the top spot of the list, followed by San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama (2.43B), James’ teammate Luka Doncic (2.11B), Warriors superstar guard Stephen Curry (1.87B) and Nuggets superstar center Nikola Jokic (1.23B) to round off the top five.
The 41-year-old superstar has had some memorable plays this season that helped him grab the No. 1 spot.

Lakers turn to LeBron James amid injury crisis
The four-time champion is not only at the top spot in this list, but he has suddenly been thrust into the No. 1 option for the Lakers. James will be looked upon to do the impossible (once again) as he went from the third option for L.A. to the first option as the playoffs approach.
Lakers star guards Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves will likely miss the entire first round of the 2026 playoffs. Doncic is dealing with a Grade 2 hamstring injury, while Reaves is dealing with an oblique injury.
The Lakers are huge underdogs in the first round without their two top players. According to BetMGM, the Lakers are +550 series underdogs against the Houston Rockets.

That’s the fifth-biggest round one underdog the Lakers have been since 1988.
James will be looked upon to turn back the clock and keep the Lakers’ season alive long enough to get Doncic and Reaves back on the hardwood.
