Legendary Pokémon originally discovered in the Unova region are blasting into Pokémon GO! Reshiram, Zekrom, Black Kyurem, and White Kyurem will appear more frequently in raids during Kyurem Fusion Raid Day on January 10, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Each of these Raid Bosses will alternate each half hour during event hours. Reshiram and Black Kyurem will appear in raids first, followed by Zekrom and White Kyurem. Trainers will have a chance to catch Kyurem after defeating Black Kyurem or White Kyurem.
To help battle these powerful Legendary Pokémon, Trainers can receive up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs, and the daily Remote Raid limit will increase to 20 from January 9 at 5:00 p.m. to January 10, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. PST. That’s not all for event bonuses—Trainers will also have an increased chance of encountering Shiny Reshiram, Shiny Zekrom, and Shiny Kyurem during the event!

Reshiram encountered in these raids will know the Charged Attack Fusion Flare while Zekrom will know the Charged Attack Fusion Bolt. Kyurem encountered in these raids may know the Charged Attack Glaciate. Completing these raids will earn you Fusion Energy, which can be used to fuse Kyurem and Zekrom into Black Kyurem, or Kyurem and Reshiram into White Kyurem. If the Kyurem you’re fusing knows Glaciate, that attack will turn into a different Charged Attack—Black Kyurem will then know the Charged Attack Freeze Shock, while White Kyurem will know the Charged Attack Ice Burn.
To get even more out of your Kyurem Fusion Raid Day experience, you can purchase an event ticket for US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). Ticket holders will receive eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Photo Discs at Gyms, and they’ll have an increased chance of receiving Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles. Trainers with the event ticket will also receive an additional 50% XP and 2× Stardust from completed raids. Trainers can purchase tickets and gift them to friends they’ve achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with.
