Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic Is a Single-Player Game From Casey Hudson
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Mass Effect’s Casey Hudson is directing Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic, a brand-new single-player narrative-driven action RPG game set in that beloved galaxy far, far away. This new game from Acanaut Studios is set “across a galaxy on the brink of rebirth where every decision shapes your path towards light or darkness.” And yes, it is a spiritual successor to KOTOR.
Yup, That Weird Statue Was Teasing a New Divinity Game
That statue in the middle of the Mojave Desert was in fact a tease for the reveal of Divinity from Baldur’s Gate 3’s Larian Studios. This game, which the studio is calling its ‘biggest game ever,” was introduced with a very brutal trailer you can watch above. But be warned, it goes places!
Capcom Finally Confirms Leon S. Kennedy Is In Resident Evil Requiem
After much speculation, this brand new gameplay and story trailer for Resident Evil Requiem confirms that Leon S. Kennedy will be joining Grace Ashcroft as a playable character. We get a look at him in action, including seeing him wield a chainsaw and deal some wonderful revenge. Resident Evil Requiem will be released on February 27, 2026.
Tomb Raider: Catalyst Announced for 2027 and Tomb Raider 1 ‘Reimagining’ Announced for 2026
2026 marks the return of Lara Croft in a big way as she will be embarking on a reimagining of her original adventure from 1996 in Tomb Raider; Legacy of Atlantis. And that’s not all, either, as 2027 will see her starring in a brand-new game called Tomb Raider: Catalyst, and Crystal Dynamics gave us a little tease as to what to expect.
This new game is “set in the wake of a mythical cataclysm that has unleashed ancient secrets and awakened the mysterious forces that guard them. When the most notorious treasure hunters from around the world descend on the region, Lara races to uncover the truth buried beneath the fractured landscape and stop those who would use its power for their own gain. As the ancient world collides with the present, Lara must decide who to trust among rivals and allies to prevent a catastrophe and protect a secret that could reshape the future.”
Control: Resonant Announced by Remedy for 2026 Release
Remedy Entertainment has revealed Control: Resonant, the follow-up to 2019’s Control and it set to be released in 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It’s also a bit different than we expected as it doesn’t appear to star Jesse Faden anymore, and instead will put players in the shoes of her younger brother, Dylan. He was taken by the Federal Bureau of Control at 10 and was put in a coma after being inflicted by The Hiss, who have now escaped into the outside world.
Also, instead of the transforming Service Weapon, Dylan will wield a transforming melee weapon, which will be augmented by his supernatural special abilities.
Returnal Successor Saros Gets a New Trailer and Release Date
Housemarque brought a new look at Saros, its follow-up to Returnal, to The Game Awards alongside a new release date of April 30, 2026. Beneath a haunting eclipse, players will become Rahul Kohli’s Arjun Devraj and will need to survive Carcosa’s dangers and come back stronger after each death.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Release Date Announced
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will be released on May 29, 2026, and looks to feature many of our favorite things from Batman’s storied history. It also features an open-world Gotham and seven playable characters, including Batman, Jim Gordon, Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, Catwoman, and Talia al Ghul.
Diablo 4 Expansion Lord of Hatred Revealed, Adds Not 1 but 2 New Classes, Including the Paladin
Blizzard has officially unveiled Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred, a new expansion that adds a mysterious new class alongside the long-requested Paladin. This new expansion will be released on April 28, 2026, and will see players going up against Mephisto and Lilith, who is back from the dead. There’s also a new region to explore called Skovos. As for the story, you can read more about it below;
“In the aftermath of Vessel of Hatred, this next chapter drives players toward their final stand against Mephisto, whose deception and spreading influence threaten to twist Sanctuary into a world consumed by malice,” The official description reads. As Hell’s legions surge and the ancient Pools of Creation draw Mephisto ever closer, the fate of humanity hangs by a thread. The Game Awards isn’t only about video games, as the cast of the upcoming Street Fighter film stopped by to share its debut trailer, and it is complete with famous special moves and even the car bonus stage. Ok, it’s still about video games but you know what I mean!
Street Fighter will be released in theaters on October 16, 2026.
Pragmata Gets Release Date, Demo, and Will Come to Nintendo Switch 2
Capcom’s Pragmata is officially coming out on April 24, 2026, and The Game Awards also revealed it will have a gameplay demo out today and that it will also be coming to Nintendo Switch 2 alongside PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
Gang of Dragon is Toshihiro Nagoshi’s New Game, and It Sure Looks Like Yakuza
Gang of Dragon is a brand-new game from Toshihiro Nagoshi after he departed Yakuza studio Ryu Ga Gotoku, and we get an extended first-look at the game in action. It follows a man in a suit who is being knifed, and then it cuts to the same man in a bar who gets into a fight with a group of Yakuza. The trailer ends with the iconic sign that marks the real-life entrance to Kabukichō, the inspiration for the Yakuza series’ Kamurocho.

The Next Game From the Developer of The Ascent Is Called No Law — and It Looks a Bit Like Cyberpunk 2077
The Ascent developer Neon Giant has revealed No Law, an upcoming open world first-person RPG game that has a distinct Cyberpunk style. The story takes place in Port Desire, and players will play as Grey Harker, an ex-military vet who left his war-torn life for a more peaceful one tending plants. However, that peace doesn’t last long.
