Six months after heavy rain and wind tore through Salt Lake City and led to a last-minute cancellation of Post Malone’s set, Redwest Music Festival has announced its return to Utah State Fairpark this fall with a two-day lineup of country stars and rising artists.
Who is playing at the 2026 Redwest Music Festival?
Now in its third iteration, Redwest Music Festival returns on a slightly smaller scale — a two-day lineup rather than three days.
Ella Langley, who performed at Redwest last year and recently beat a Taylor Swift record with her hit song “Choosin’ Texas,” will headline the festival on Friday, Oct. 16.
“Straight and Narrow” singer Sam Barber and Tucker Wetmore, who released his debut album “What Not To” last year, will headline Saturday, Oct. 17.
Other high-profile artists performing at the festival include Shaboozey, who skyrocketed to fame with his hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” and performed outside the Delta Center before the then-Utah Hockey Club’s first-ever home game, and Slater Nalley, who made it to the top five on “American Idol” last year.

Last year’s festival brought in major names, including Kacey Musgraves, Post Malone and Noah Kahan, though Malone’s set was canceled due to severe weather.
The inaugural festival included Oliver Anthony — who previously went viral with “Rich Men North of Richmond” — and Colter Wall, whose western-style music can be heard in the series “Yellowstone,” per the Deseret News.
What to know about tickets for Redwest Music Festival
Last year’s festival brought star power and some disappointment due to severe weather.
On the night of Post Malone’s scheduled set, at 9:40 p.m., the festival officially canceled the show, as the Deseret News previously reported.
“Conditions at the festival site are currently unsafe to proceed. We’re truly sorry and appreciate your patience and understanding,” the festival shared in an update at the time. “Please stay tuned to our social channels and check your email for further updates and next steps.”
Ava Ahlander, a 23-year-old attendee visiting from Washington, died after being struck by a large plank from scaffolding at a nearby construction site after evacuating the event. Ahlander’s family filed a lawsuit against the construction company earlier this year, as KSL reported.
Now, following last year’s weather-induced chaos, Redwest Music Festival is offering returning fans a discounted alumni ticket rate and free access to an “exclusive Thursday night opening concert featuring special guests,” according to a post on the festival’s official Facebook page.
The email used to purchase tickets for last year’s festival will serve as a one-time code for an alumni discount, according to the festival. Returning fans can use the discount to purchase up to the same amount of tickets as last year.
The alumni discount starts Friday, April 17, at 10 a.m. MDT and ends Sunday, April 19, at 11:59 p.m. MDT.
Per the festival’s website, ticket prices include a two-day general admission package for $244 up to a VIP+ package for $849.
